Tonya Sylvia, O.D.
Dr. Sylvia is a 1988 Graduate of Powhatan High School. Graduated in 1992 from Mary Washington College with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 1996.
Dr. Sylvia has a therapeutic license to diagnose and treat many eye infections and diseases including glaucoma. Our office is equipped with the newest visual field unit on the market that can detect glaucomadous and neurological changes in the eye. Vision therapy for children and speciality contact lens fitting are also available.

Jennifer Bowman, O.D.
Dr. Bowman is a 2003 graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University in May 2007. She has her therapeutic phamaceutical agents license allowing her to treat many eye diseases and conditions. She enjoys pediatric eye exams and vision therapy for children along with speciality contact lenses.

Paul Sylvia, ABOC
Paul graduated from Powhatan High School in 1988. Paul is the licensed optician for Powhatan Family Vision Center. He received his Associate Degree in Opticianry from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2000. Paul specializes in drill mount frames and also does numerous frame repairs.
